Michael Leone – Engagement Director

Mike is an accomplished marketing and sales strategist with the proven ability to formulate winning strategies for complex markets and to translate them into a practical, implementable plans. As a “big picture” consultant with an uncanny eye for opportunities, he is an invaluable resource for clients.

Mike brings exceptionally deep hospital and specialty markets experience with both major and emerging growth companies. As National Director of Bristol Myers Squibb’s Federal, and Institutional Sales Force, he rebuilt a 275-person hospital sales force and led multiple major new product introductions, including the antibiotic Maxipime and Plavix. He earlier had lead responsibility for an array of managed market payers and Federal accounts.

In his six years with Infusion, Mike has supported a wide array of clients with an emphasis on hospital therapeutics and orphan products. Among his therapeutic areas of experience are anti-infectives, cardiovascular, hematology and ophthalmology as well as a wide array of orphan conditions.
